Baby Baby

This issue’s Hot Spot brings some Parisian flair to the Prairies.

Born of the culinary team that created the popular brunch spot Clementine Cafe, Baby Baby has quickly established itself as a favourite in Winnipeg’s Osborne Village since opening in early 2025. This stylish stop for dinner and drinks has all the flair of a Parisian bistro but with casual Canadian charm. Sample from the menu of small and medium plates (including anchovy toast, Greenland halibut, and pickerel beignets) or share a whole duck or sea bass served with sides.

(Clockwise from top left) The entrance welcomes you with its cheerful painted sign; cherry trifle with tonka bean custard and cocoa nibs; grab a table near the open kitchen... or in a cozy booth or at the ornate bar. | PHOTOS: IAN McCAUSLAND
